I recently met this unique musician when I was asked to write a piece for him – The Imperial Suite, a duet to be performed with Robert Marler, principal pianist of the Nashville Symphony. He is Professor of Cello at Belmont University, Nashville. But he is also an EDM (electronic Dance Music) composer/producer/DJ who runs his own label, RLU Records. This book has also been criticized as being arranged in a fashion not indicative of Bill Evans. Many consider these to be more piano arrangements rather than transcriptions.
